L.A. Express's pedigree incorporates some of the best sport horse blood available in the world today, reflecting World Champions and World Champion Producers from both the dressage and Jumper disciplines. L.A.'s grand sire is Lugano 1, who sired 30 approved stallions and many States Premium mares. His dam line combines the legnedary blood of Absatz and Gottard. Absatz is the sire of 40 approved stallions, 68 States Premium mares, and more than 400 main studbook mares. Argentan, Absatz's son and L.A.'s grand sire, is regarded as the best approved son of Absatz, and was voted Celle Stallion of the Year in 1994. He is also sire of the World Cup Showjumping Champion, Aramis, and the 1990 German Champion of Showjumpers, Alcazar. Another famous son of the great Absatz, is the dressage great, Aktuell.

L.A. Express is fully licensed and approved with the Canadian Sport Horse Association, and has recently been imported to the States from Canada.
