Dixie is a lovely mare with smooth lines, lofty, floaty gaits and a winning temperament. A smaller, compact mare, she is out of the mare Mata Hari, the licensed pony stallion Belafonte's dam. This mare will be started under saddle in 2012 after her foal is weaned. With her breeding, we believe she will be a versatile mount capable of excelling in dressage or jumping.
Dixie has been bred to the Hanoverian stallion, Christ (Prounounced "Krist") for one of only a handful of his offspring due in 2012. We are excited for this cross as it combines some of the very best dressage breeding with some spectacular jumping lines. Christ was the second Reserve Champion Stallion at the Hanoverian licensing in Verden. With a black coat and an ideally formed body - a large riding horse physique harmoniously joined to form a perfect picture. He has maximum elasticity in every phase of his movement and over jumps, as well. He masters all tasks with a good mind, skill and ability. Christ is by Competent (Compliment x Gescha/Gluckspilz) and out of the mare Paloma (Picard x Dalia/Dainyo xx).
