Avalon Equine moved to Wynnewood, Oklahoma, a beautiful agricultural community in South Central Oklahoma in 2006. Formerly Mannuscript Farm (from the heart of the United States' Rocky Mountains) and Deepwater Farm (from the rocky shores of Canada’s Nova Scotia) the two combined as one to create a full service breeding facility and a home of some of the best Warmblood Stallions. Joining forces with the internationally renowned breeding operation, Equine-Reproduction.com, we have become home to some of the top sport horse and warmblood stallions in the country. We currently offer the fully licensed and approved Oldenburg stallion, Mannhattan; the only Knabstrupper stallion in the world who has successfully completed a 70 or 100 Day stallion performance test - Colorado Skrødstrup; one of the highest scoring German Riding Pony stallions, Belafonte d'Avalon; Elite Stallion, Toronto, a KWPN stallion that stood at the Hanoverian Stud in Celle; the ONLY cremello Thoroughbred stallion, fully licensed and approved with a German Warmbood registry, Goldmaker; one of the TOP Hunter Stallions in North America - Apiro; the beautiful hunter stallion, Black Tie ; and the RPSI licensed and approved Thoroughbred stallion and a Pulpit son, Baatesh.
Our goal is to breed top quality warmblood sport horses for not only serious competitive-minded equestrians, but also those individuals who seek a long-time companion and wish to compete at the amateur level. With those goals in mind, we offer a limited number of up-and-coming warmblood foals, as well as breedings to our renowned warmblood stallions, who have sired champions, incredible brood stock, amateur friendly horses, and the athletes with which to be successful at top levels!
Jos Mottershead and Kathy St.Martin have been breeding warmbloods and managing warmblood stallions for over 35 years and their combined knowledge and experience is invaluable in guiding Avalon Equine's successful warmblood breeding program.
